There was an old mule. One day accidentally he fell into the farmer’s well. The farmer has evaluated the situation and thought to himself, that neither the well nor the old mule was worth the efforts to save them. Thus he decided to haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well.
So the farmer called his neighbours and together they started to shovel dirt into the well. The old mule was terrified and hysterical in the beginning. But soon one hopeful idea came to his mind – every time when a shovel of dirt landed on his back, he would shake it off and step up!
He repeated these words to himself again and again: " Shake it off and step up“. This way he could struggle the panic and encourage himself. After some time, the mule had stepped over the well‘s wall. Although terribly tired, he was the winner, he saved his own life. He decided to face his adversity positively and not to give up, and thus he won.
What seemed to bury him, actually saved him, owing to his confidence and restless efforts.

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.
He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up the remaining open areas of the jar.
He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”
“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff.”
“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party, or fix the disposal.”
“Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

Researcher Jonathan Cheek told Science of Us that there are four different types of introverts: social, thinking, anxious and restrained and that every introvert has varying degrees of these traits, which makes sense considering introvert is a huge term that has various meanings and traits within itself.

So, let’s look at these introvert types in turn to help you decide which one you fit into:

 1. Social Introversion:

A social introvert is the cliché type of introvert, if you will. It’s the type of introvert who likes to be alone and prefers not to socialize or if they have to, they prefer to keep their group fairly small and close-knit. Social introverts get their energy from being alone – one of the biggest traits of introversion – and being around people drains them emotionally, mentally and sometimes even physically. This type of introversion is often the type that gets mistaken for shyness – being socially introverted doesn’t necessarily make you shy or having anxiety about social situations, it simply means the individual prefers solitude over time spent with lots of other people.

 2. Thinking Introversion:

A thinking introvert is somebody who likes to think, about anything and everything. The perfect word to sum up a thinking introvert is pensive. Being self-reflective and analyzing situations, conversations and memories is one of the traits of being a thinking introvert. Cheek claims thinking introverts are “capable of getting lost in an internal fantasy world. But it’s not in a neurotic way; it’s in an imaginative and creative way.”

 3. Anxious Introversion:

A self-explanatory title for this introvert: an individual who gets anxious in social situations. The anxious introvert might not stay away from the party because they enjoy solitude, but because they experience a high state of anxiety, self-consciousness and/or awkwardness when in, or even thinking about, social situations.  This kind of introversion ties in with worrying about previous social interactions and why things are the way they are. This type, however, can be manipulated should you define yourself as an anxious introvert. Therapy and counselling can be a very useful tool in finding coping strategies for anxiety, building your social confidence and moving you out of the anxious introvert box.

4. Restrained Introversion:

Perhaps the least-known type of introversion there is, restrained introverts are people who take a while to “warm up.” They may enjoy being around people, but only after they become used to the situation and the people. Another word for this type of introversion is reserved and preferring to observe and then think before speaking or acting.

1. There is a man's head somewhere in this picture.

If you managed to find the man in 3 seconds, then the right part of your brain is more developed than in the average person.

If you found him in about 1 minute, the right part of your brain is of the average person.

If you needed more than 1 minute to find him, the right part of your brain is slow.

True Story

A guy was in a relationship with a girl for over two years. She was everything to him. She was the only one who could make him smile when he had a bad day. He loved her a lot.

Things changed and they broke up. He was heartbroken. He just couldn't get over her.

Someone advised him to smoke weed(cannabis) to get over her. He thought that maybe weed can help him.

He asked a friend who smokes weed to take him to the nearest place where they sell weed. It was a slum.

As he was waiting outside for him to score some weed for him, he saw an ice-cream vendor passing through. Then his eyes stopped at the three kids pleading their mother to buy them ice-cream. She scolded them as maybe she didn't have the money to buy them what they demanded. A veil of sadness surrounded the little kids.

He took the kids to the vendor and bought them the ones they wanted. It cost him 25 Rupees(0.40 USD). The smile on their face, it was priceless

He asked them if he could take their picture.

They said yes without hesitating. It seemed like it was the first time someone clicked their picture.

This incident changed his life and he did not smoke weed that day or ever after.

Yes, money can buy happiness.

This is a beautiful story worth sharing :)

A son took his old father to a restaurant for an evening dinner.

Father being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on his shirt and trousers. Other diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm.

After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him to the restroom, washed off all the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted his spectacles firmly.

When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how could someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.

The son settled the bill and started walking out with his father.

At that point, an old man amongst the diner called out to the son and asked him,

"Don't you think you've left something behind?"

The son replied,

"No sir, I haven't."

The old man retorted,

"Yes, you have. You left a lesson for every son and hope for every father."

The whole restaurant went silent.

To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors.

A married couple is travelling by car from Victoria to Prince George.

Being seniors, after almost eleven hours on the road, they were too tired to continue and decided to take a room. But, they only planned to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road.

When they checked out four hours later, the desk clerk handed them a bill for $350.00.

The man explodes and demands to know why the charge is so high. He told the clerk although it's a nice hotel; the rooms certainly aren't worth $350.00 for four hours. Then the clerk tells him that $350.00 is the 'standard rate'. He insisted on speaking to the Manager.

The Manager appears, listens to him, and then explains that the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference centre that were available for us to use.

"But we didn't use them," the husband said.
"Well, they are here, and you could have," explained the Manager.
The Manager went on to explain that the couple could also have taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best entertainers from New York , Hollywood , and Las Vegas perform here," the Manager says.
"But we didn't go to any of those shows," the husband said.
"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replied.
No matter what amenity the Manager mentioned, the husband replied, "But we didn't use it!"
The Manager is unmoved, and eventually the husband gave up and agreed topay. As he didn't have the check book, he asked his wife to write the check.
She did and gave it to the Manager.
The Manager is surprised when he looks at the check. "But ma'am, this is made out for only $50.00."
"That's correct. I charged you $300.00 for sleeping with me," she replied.
"But I didn't!" exclaims the Manager.
"Well, too bad, I was here, and you could have."
Don't mess with senior citizens..... They didn't get there by being stupid.

The Worst Feelings In The World
 Heartbreak.
It’s that sinking feeling deep inside your stomach you get,
and it’s as though your heart is literally being ripped into
small, tiny pieces and you feel so horrible inside and so sick
and so .. so broken.
Being Lied To, Cheated On, Rejected, Forgotten
You feel like a ghost, like no one notices you and your emotions.
Like you’re a piece of paper that someone threw in the trash or
ripped in pieces. And there’s that sad, empty pit in your stomach
and it feels like you’re slowly rotting and no one cares.
Losing A Loved One [Friend, Boyfriend, Family Member]
A sadness sets inside of you and a broken hope. You feel like
the past was forgotten, and your relationship has sunk. You feel
empty inside and for a moment, you wonder: ‘Where did we go wrong?’
 Having A Loved One Die
It’s that feeling of anger and regret and you wonder why life is so unfair. You get a headache,
and you feel so dizzy and
wonder if you’re trapped in a nightmare.
 Guilt & Shame
It’s that pit inside your stomach and it’s that sadness you get
when you realize you’ve done something wrong. It’s that fear
that someone will realize what you’ve done and that sadness inside.
 Fear
It’s feeling like a lost child, it’s feeling like you’re in a dark room
and you’ll never see light. It’s not knowing what’s around the corner. It’s sickening.
 Losing Someone’s Trust
It’s that confusion and that wonder of what you did wrong.
It’s that re-run of mistakes playing in your mind and hope that really isn’t there
♥ Being Forgotten
It’s that feeling of anger. It’s that feeling of,
How could you forget all our good times?
” It’s that
empty regret. It’s feeling like a ghost. Like you never
existed, and you really never should.
Let me tell you this – you’re not alone.
We all feel like this at some point in our life. Not exactly like this,
but we something like it. We’re all different, but we’re all human.
You’re not alone. Don’t be afraid.

This story is about a person working with a freezer plant.
It was almost the day end. Everyone had packed up to check out.

A technical snag developed in the plant and he went to check.

By the time he finished it was late. The doors were sealed and the lights were off.

Trapped inside the ice plant whole night without air and light, an icy grave was almost sure for him.

Hours passed thus. Suddenly he found someone opening the door.

Was it a miracle?

The security guard entered there with a torch light and helped him to come out.

On the way back the person asked the security guard, “How did you know that I am inside?” “Who informed you?” the guard said, “None sir; this unit has about 50 people. But you are the only one who says Hello to me in the morning and bye in the evening.

You had reported in morning. But did not go out. That made me suspicious.”

Never did the person know that a small gesture of greeting someone would prove to be a lifesaver for him. So do us. Remember to greet when you meet someone, of course with a warm smile.
We don’t know; that may work a miracle in your life too.

Were you born to be rich? A 2015 survey of close to 9,000 workers determined that those born under Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, and Cancer are the most likely to earn over $100,000 per year. Sorry Capricorn and Aquarius, you folks are most likely to earn under $45,000 per year. While we won’t all be rich, you can find satisfaction in your job, especially if you seek out one that is congruent with your zodiac sign.

Aries
Aries is the youngest sign in the zodiac. There is a reason the sign is represented by a ram—Aries are strong (and strong-willed), vibrant, enthusiastic, and competitive. They thrive in commission-based jobs, especially if there is a bonus involved. Due to their bravery (and their impulsivity), they are the heroes of our lives—the police officers and firefighters. They are excellent promoters and may find the world of advertising and public relations appeals to their outgoing nature. Best jobs: entrepreneur, soldier, rescue worker; work well in the fields of government and politics, television, and recreation.

Taurus
One of the things a Taurus enjoys most is stability. They will work very hard for certain guarantees—good benefits, vacation time, salary, job security. Determined, patient, honest, and methodical, they are excellent team members and extremely dependable. Taurians have a fondness for beautiful things and love working with flowers, food, jewelry, and luxury items. They are also known for their clear, strong voices and do well as an announcer, public speaker, or receptionist. Best jobs: accountant, educator, engineer, lawyer, designer, landscaper, chef.

Gemini
Want to make a Gemini happy? Give her plenty to do and make it intellectually stimulating. Remember that Geminis are twins, which means you have to engage two people, so they need to have a lot going on and like fast-paced, pressured environments. They won’t survive long doing tedious or repetitive work. Jobs that require travel are perfect, as are jobs that require social networking. Geminis are optimistic and full of energy—they should be encouraged to let go and express themselves rather than be confined to traditional rules. Best jobs: stockbroker, switchboard operator, technical support, teacher, architect, machine operator, rescue worker.

Cancer
Cancer is the mother of the zodiac (Capricorn is the father), so these sensitive types do well in jobs that require nurturing or taking care of things. However, this isn’t just about working with children or puppies; Cancerians make excellent executives, much like a multi-tasking mom who’s in charge. Cancerians give great advice and are very protective. They handle responsibility with ease and are imaginative problem solvers. Best jobs: gardener, social worker, childcare, human resources, lawyer, teacher, CEO, soldier.

Leo
Nothing like a mighty lion to lead your company into success and high profits. Fearless, inspiring, and independent, Leos work best when they are in the spotlight and love jobs that bring status and power. They can be high-maintenance and disruptive to a team environment, but their charm usually wins everyone over in the end. Not to be micro-managed, Leos possess spontaneity and ingenuity and do well when encouraged to lead instead of follow. Best jobs: CEO, performer, tour guide, real estate agent, interior decorator, fashion designer, government, saleperson.

Virgo
Virgos are known for their perfectionism and do very well in detailed-oriented professions. They remember things, excel at abstract thinking, and are very tidy and neat. Many Virgos do well in service-type jobs—you would be very happy with a Virgo manicurist or server (plus Virgos tend to make more money when working for tips). Writing, research, and statistics come easy to the meticulous Virgo brain. They are also easy to get along with as they are generally very cheerful. Many Virgos have a knack for languages. Best jobs: editor/writer, teacher, critic, technician, translator, detective, statistician.

Libra
Libras—what would we do without them? They are good-looking and charming, gracious and entertaining. Their cooperative nature makes them excellent ambassadors and team leaders. If you ever have to deal with customer service over the phone, it will go much smoother if the operator is a Libra. More so than any sign, Libras are people people. They are not the type to slave away in some dark room; they thrive in buzzing, social environments. Many Libras gravitate toward the arts and will most likely be the lead singer of a band, interacting with the audience, rather than a brooding songwriter. Best jobs: diplomat, dancer, salesperson, host, negotiator, travel agent, supervisor.

Scorpio
Intense—that’s what they are. Need a bomb diffused? How about complicated brain surgery? Trust me, you want a Scorpio for the job. Scorpios are able to block out distractions, concentrate, and focus like a laser beam. They are curious and are often drawn to mysteries—you would never want to be cross-examined or interrogated by a Scoripo for they are not only intimidating, but also very intuitive. Scorpios are also drawn to the abnormal and they like to know what makes things tick. (Think Fox Mulder on The X-Files.) Just don’t hover around them—they need their independence and their employer’s trust. Best jobs: detective, lawyer, educator, scientist, surgeon, physicist.

Sagittarius
Sagittarians are ethical, full of energy, and rather philosophical. They are excellent decision-makers and make fair and easygoing bosses. Many Sagittarians are spiritual, which can translate well into careers involving the environment, animals, and counseling, as well as religion. They also love to travel and be outdoors. Outgoing and fun-loving, they are likable and witty coworkers who can defuse tense situations with humor and tact. They will not be tied down or bothered with the little details. Routine kills their spirit. Best jobs: minister, animal trainer, editor, public relations, coach, and anything having to do with travel.

Capricorn
Capricorns are very ambitious and need challenges to be happy. Just like the mountain goat climbs on the tiniest crags to get to the top, Capricorns are determined and persistent—they will do what whatever it takes. Most are responsible and conscientious; many enjoy power. They run a tight ship—they will enforce rules and keep everyone on schedule. If you need something done right (and to exact standards), look no further than a Capricorn. They also tend to be workaholics. Best jobs: manager, administrator, editor, banker, IT, and anything science-related.

Aquarius
The quality that sets Aquarians apart from everyone else is their humanitarian nature (it’s also why they are flighty in matters of the heart, but that’s another story). They love to explore avant-garde ideas and have a curious and adventurous nature. They are the most likely to have an unconventional job, maybe even one of their making. They will rebel against corporate environments, needing freedom of thought and movement. They will not be satisfied doing things the same way they have always been done. If you need a fresh approach, an Aquarius will not let you down. Best jobs: scientist (if they can explore new theories), inventor, organic farmer, aviator, designer, musician.

Pisces
Pisces is the oldest sign in the zodiac and many Pisceans have that “old soul” feel about them. The key words here are creative and passionate. They excel in the traditional arts (music, dance, photography). Pisceans are also highly intuitive. If your stylist is a Pisces, she will not only give you a modern and unique haircut; she will also give you the haircut that fits you best. Many astrologers and tarot practitioners are Pisces. Their intuition also helps in fields that require compassion. Best jobs: artist, nurse, physical therapist, philanthropist, veterinarian, psychologist.
